Rosturizm: from July “all the most popular” domestic tourist destinations will be open for free visit
Since the beginning of July, “all the most popular” tourist destinations in Russia are open for free visit. This was reported by the head of Rosturizm Zarina Doguzova.
The "symbolic" start of the season took place on June 22, when the first tourist flight Moscow - Sochi took off. The flight became possible on the wings of Rossiya Airlines in cooperation with the tour operator Biblio Globus.
By the beginning of July, all the most popular tourist destinations will be open for interregional trips, which means that we can talk about the start of the summer tourist season. Our main task for this summer is a safe and affordable holiday for our citizens from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok, said Zarina Doguzova.
The head of Rostourism noted that the domestic tourism industry suffered losses of 1.5 trillion rubles – in general, in the first half of 2020. She said, “God willing, by the end of next year, we’re going to make up for this loss.” This will need to grow at a very accelerated pace and make non-standard decisions, including from the point of view of the inbound flow.”
