LLC "AMADU" offers active tours in Altai. Horse treks, hiking routes with backpacks and light, rafting along Katun and Chuya on rafts and catamarans, bicycle tours. There are offers for beginners and for experienced tourists, of varying duration and complexity.
Amadou was established in 1993. We live and work in the Chemal district of the Altai Republic, near the village of Edigan, on the bank of the river of the same name (tributary of Katun). The location of this place is unique: quiet, secluded, and to the east of the village 200 km stretches huge mountain expanses, there are no more settlements, only rare hunting lodges and shelters.
Since 1995, we have been organizing horseback riding. Gradually mastered and now we offer our guests water (alloys on Chuya and Katun), foot (accompanied by pack horses or with backpacks), and combined tours (bike-horse-water) in the Altai Mountains.
We are engaged in raising horses, which we then attract for horseback riding tours in difficult mountainous terrain. There are over 30 trained horses at your disposal.
Experienced guides and instructors will go with you. We have rafts, catamarans, bicycles, equipped camping with summer and winter houses.
In addition to active routes to us you can just come to the base, make a series of excursions, climb around the neighborhood, we offer beginners to learn how to ride.
On the base there are always fresh rustic products: whole milk, cottage cheese, sour cream, butter. You can buy wool socks connected by our fellow villagers from the wool of local sheep.
We meet tourists in Barnaul, Biysk, Gorno-Altaisk and Chemal on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. You can reach us on your own by car or by bus through Chemal, having previously arranged a meeting.
