Answer: Sightseeing tour of Sukhum usually lasts 3-4 hours for the urban part and up to 8-10 hours when leaving for the surrounding area. The city route begins with a visit to the Botanical Garden, then follows to the Sukhum fortress and the ruins of Sebastopolis, then to the embankment and monkey farm. The tour ends at the Besletsky Bridge, where you can take panoramic photos. With the expanded program, a trip to New Athos is added with a tour of the Simon Cananite Monastery and the cave, as well as to Gagra with its colonnade and the Seaside Park. The guide tells about the history of the city from ancient times to the present day, about the Georgian-Abkhaz conflict and the modern restoration of Sukhum.

Answer: A tour of the Sukhum fortress and the ruins of Sebastopolis is unique in that it allows you to touch layers of history spanning more than two millennia - from the Greek colony of Dioscurias to the Roman city of Sebastopolis, the Byzantine fortress and the Ottoman period. You will see the powerful walls of the fortress with towers, the remains of Roman baths, residential quarters and defensive ramparts, as well as ancient stonework, which are still not fully studied by archaeologists. The guide will talk about how the city changed its names and rulers, about the excavations that are still ongoing, and about the finds that are stored in the local museum. The panorama from the hill of the fortress to the city, the sea and the mountains makes this excursion one of the most atmospheric.

Answer: Individual excursions in Sukhum are ideal for tourists who want to get a personalized experience and flexibly plan the route - for example, focus on nature, history or gastronomy. They will be of interest to families with children who want to visit the monkey farm and the Botanical Garden at a comfortable pace, as well as outdoor enthusiasts who want to explore the surroundings by SUV. The guide can adapt the program to your interests, including, for example, a visit to the New Athos Cave with its train and underground lakes or a trip to abandoned hydroelectric power stations and ancient temples, which are rarely included in standard group tours.
