The analytical center of the National Union of Hospitality Industry (OSIG) reported that Russians most often this summer are looking for information about holidays in Sochi, Kamchatka, the Crimean Peninsula.

The increase in the number of requests for “rest sochi” in “Yandex” in June 2020 amounted to 22% compared to the same period of 2019, “rest Kamchatka” – 21.4%, “rest Crimea” – 8.5%.

Russians searched for recreation centers in June 2020 more than 3.8 million times according to the statistics of keywords on Yandex - 20% more compared to the same period in 2019.

The dynamics show the desire of travelers on vacation to observe the mode of social distancing and the formation of a new trend in the tourism industry.

- It is obvious that the situation on the market of tourist services, including in the hotel sector, has revived. The increase in requests for “hotel Crimea” in June of this year amounted to 69% compared to June 2019, said A. Suleikov, head of the OSIG center.

After a three-year break, the air service Simferopol - Irkutsk was opened, after a two-year pause - between the Crimea and the Far East.

Started direct flights Simferopol-Saratov, Simferopol-Belgorod. The number of flights from Moscow increased five times.
