The head of Rosturizm told where in Russia you can relax interesting and affordable
The head of Rostourism Zarina Doguzova at the online forum “Russia: Tourism 2020” spoke about the advantages of “unexpected” tourist destinations in Russia except for the traditional resorts of the Black Sea coast.
For example, there is the Russian Baltic, in which you can combine beach and sightseeing holidays. ...Kaliningrad region resort-town SvetlogorskZelenogradsk, Amber. Here a comfortable beach holiday can be qualitatively combined with excursion programs. <...> in the resort area of St. Petersburg. Leningrad region, where you can relax on sandy beaches. And this year we have a unique opportunity to walk around the northern capital without crowds of foreign tourists.
The next direction is republic. This is an amazing synthesis of beautiful nature and unique Russian architecture of wooden architecture <...> The lakes of Karelia, I can say from my experience, are not inferior to the famous Norwegian fjords. And the main pearl of Lake Onega is the Kizhi Reserve. I think everyone should see it at least once in their lives.”
Interesting route - a trip on a retro train from St. Petersburg to Ruskealu Mountain Park.
The head of Rostourism believes that the popularity of beach holidays is caused by the fact that in the summer tourists want to spend their vacation by the water. According to Z. Doshuzova, “a beach atmosphere can be created not only by the sea.”
Zarina Doguzova draws attention to the Volga River and the regions on its coast - Yaroslavl, Tver, Nizhny Novgorod, Astrakhan and Volgograd. There is a rich cultural and historical program and a large number of ancient cities – Yaroslavl, Rybinsk, Uglich, Kazan and others.
Doguzova reminded about the main asset of our country - the largest freshwater lake Baikal. Incredible energy lake, it is vast expanses. I was lucky with the weather, it was very sunny. I must say that in Buryatia and in the Irkutsk region, on the territory of which Baikal is located, about 300 sunny days a year. Buryatia struck me with a combination of different cultures - Buddhism and Old Believers. Of course, it is a completely different world.”
The head of Rostourism noted that there is a lack of comfortable accommodation on the lake, and it is necessary "... to build hotels of different price categories <...> we plan to build non-capital buildings - campsites and glampings." This is not only a comfortable holiday, but also environmentally friendly.”
Zarina Doguzova spoke about Siberia, the hit of the season - the Republic of Khakassia: "For the beauty of the region is often called "Siberian Switzerland". There are hundreds of lakes, many of them quite warm. A large number of opportunities for hiking, trekking, mountaineering. Open-air museums – Salbyk mound, which resembles Stonehenge.
She recalled that this summer you can go as part of organized tours to the Altai, which has long been popular with independent tourists. These are boundless fields of maral, and the famous health resort "Belokurikha". Well, the small mountain republic of Altai, known all over the world by the brands Golden Mountains of Altai, turquoise Katun. This and Teletskoye Lake with incredible landscapes, picturesque Chui tract.
Other interesting destinations for recreation at home are the Pskov region, the Caucasus, the Caspian Sea coast, the Urals, the Far East.
Large tour operators with the support of Rosturizm in the summer of 2020 organized charter programs for the delivery of tourists to the regions of Russia. Charters fly from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg to Kaliningrad, July 5 flew the first charter flight Moscow - Buryatia, July 19 scheduled to start the program from Moscow to Khakassia. On July 18, the program of transportation of tourists by regular flights to the Altai from Moscow and St. Petersburg starts. The possibility of launching charters from the European part of our country to the Far East is being discussed.
