The cashback program applies to all regions of Russia
The head of Rostourism Zarina Doguzova said that the program of subsidizing tours in Russia is extended to all regions of the country.
For the implementation of the program of subsidizing tours in Russia from the reserve fund of the government of the Russian Federation allocated 15 billion rubles. Cashback, which tourists will receive when buying a tour, will be equal to 5-15 thousand rubles.
Similar programs exist in a number of countries that are actively developing tourism in general and domestic tourism. But the amount of returns is unprecedented in size, there are no analogues of such programs in the world, Zarina Doguzova said.
Rosturizm decided that all Russian regions would participate in the project so that Russians had a choice.
Rostourism intends to offer up to 2 million different trips in Russia - from Kaliningrad to the Far East.
“We’re also trying to offer some of the most unusual directions that many of us have only heard about in geography classes.”
The agency is currently working on a program. The head of Rostourism explained that tourists will be able to use ready-made package tours or buy one accommodation.
“This is provided for tourists who are used to independently planning their trips and intend to travel by their own car,” says Zarina Doguzova.
Zarina Doguzova noted that tour operators offering cruise product along the rivers of Russia can participate in the program.
The duration of the trip under the program must be at least 5 days, interregional travel is allowed (and welcome).
The project starts in August with the opportunity to go on a trip from the moment of purchase of the tour. For regions that are in high demand in August and September, promotional trips will be available from October 1.
The exact date of sales will be announced a week before the start of the project, information will be available on the resources of Rostourism.
The program operator is the payment system MIR, the technological partner is Rostelecom.
