Sobyanin: the incidence of COVID-19 in Moscow has reached a minimum
The mayor of the capital Sergey Sobyanin on air of the TV channel “Russia 24” said that the data of the daily increase in the incidence of coronavirus in Moscow came to a minimum.
" We have reached the minimum level, below which we will not fall, because millions of people move in Moscow, hundreds of thousands come from other regions. It is hardly necessary to cherish the hope that we will go to zero or to some minimum values. The same pattern will continue in the coming weeks. That is, we will be in the corridor from 650 to 700, plus or minus 50.”
According to Sobyanin, the same situation is expected for the number of hospitalizations with coronavirus and other indicators.
The mayor noted that the situation in the future may be complicated during the period of increasing influenza, SARS during seasonal diseases, so it is worth it earlier than in previous years "... to get vaccinated against seasonal influenza and wait for the vaccine."
C. Sobyanin noted that the incidence of COVID-19 in Moscow is 10 times lower compared to the peak period in early May.
