Rospotrebnadzor agreed 13 countries to open borders
On July 8, Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matviyenko said Russia was preparing to open its borders with other countries.
Russia is not interested in imposing any far-fetched restrictions, not releasing citizens, closing the border. It is a matter of bilateral relations.”
The government has instructed relevant agencies to compile a list of countries with which it is possible to resume international flights in a favorable epidemiological situation.
The principle of reciprocity will be important: air links will be opened with those countries that will be ready to receive the Russians. It can take 2-3 weeks to prepare the list.
Perhaps the first regular international flights from Russia will depart in August. On July 7, Sheremetyevo Airport announced the resumption of international terminal D from July 27. Ticket sales abroad from Aeroflot are open for flights from August 1.
Experts believe that the opening of foreign destinations will be announced in July. To fill the first flights, airlines need at least 3 weeks of sales.
The borders of the CIS countries will probably be opened first. This is due to the fact that many citizens of these countries are still waiting for the opportunity to return home from Russia. If we talk about reciprocity, then Turkey, Croatia, the Dominican Republic, Bulgaria, etc. are ready to accept Russians.
It is not clear on what conditions Russians will leave and return abroad. Quarantine measures are still in place, and it is possible that the "payment" for an overseas trip will be necessary to spend 14 days in self-isolation.
The list of countries “with which it is possible to open air communication” on Thursday presented Rospotrebnadzor. The list for the first stage included only 13 countries.

On specific dates of opening of borders and the start of air traffic speech in the document of Rospotrebnadzor is not - it will determine Rosaviatsiya, presenting its proposals to the Government.
The final resolution on the document will have to put Mishustin. However, it is obvious that this move to open the borders occurred after the meeting of Aeroflot CEO Vitaly Savelyev with President Vladimir Putin – the next day Sheremetyevo announced the restart of the main international terminal. As Turprom experts predicted, these signs clearly indicated the imminent opening of borders.
