The Association of Tour Operators of the Russian Federation compared the cost of rest in Russia, Turkey, Tanzania

Analysts of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia found out that resting in domestic resorts is cheaper than in Russia Turkey and Tanzania.

Experts compared the cost of package tours for two people with departure on August 8-14, for seven nights, with flight, accommodation and meals.

Minimum prices for rest were recorded in the resorts of the Crimea and Krasnodar Territory, where the price varies from 27.5 to 32.9 thousand rubles. Analysts note that this is 8-13% more expensive than a week ago.

As for the minimum prices for foreign resorts, Turkey is slowly catching up with Russian resorts at the starting prices for tour packages, but it is still more expensive. So, the cheapest weekly tour to Antalya (Sida) on these dates will cost 39.8 thousand rubles for two (for breakfast). Prices for Tanzania also became slightly lower by the minimum bar, starting from 133.8 thousand rubles for two per tour, the company said.

Because of the coronavirus pandemic, Russia has stopped regular and charter flights abroad since March 27. An exception is made for flights that take Russians from other countries, cargo, postal, sanitary and some other flights.
