Montenegrin authorities allowed Russians to enter the country

Authority Montenegro Russia is included in the “green” list of countries with the possibility of unhindered entry into the territory of the state.

This is reported on the government website of Montenegro.

Earlier, the media noted that in the tourism sector of Montenegro due to COVID-19 there is a catastrophic situation. Borders with most countries are closed, and due to the lack of tourists, half of the hotel stock is empty, only locals are on the beaches.

This season, tourists in Montenegro are 90% less than before, despite the fact that many people in the country are dependent on tourism.

In Montenegro, there are now green and yellow lists for foreigners. In the first until now, there were 11 EU countries, as well as Norway and Switzerland, tourists from there can come to the country without hindrance, the second included Balkan neighbors and other countries, they must provide a negative test for COVID-19 at the border.

The National Coordination Council for Countering Coronavirus of the Government of Montenegro indicated that citizens of Russia and Azerbaijan will be able to enter Montenegro without additional conditions - the decision was made based on the epidemiological situation and the needs of the tourism industry of Montenegro.
